Mrs. Amanda McQueen Holman, age 79, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away on October 18, 2025. She was born on February 9, 1946, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late Julius McQueen and Gladys Humphries McQueen.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Earl Holman; brothers and sisters-in-law Nathaniel McQueen, Randall "Bud" McQueen, Vera McQueen, Marie McQueen, and brother-in-law Barry Holman.

Mrs. Holman is survived by her sons Keith (Jill) Holman and Kevin (Susan) Holman; grandchildren Austin Holman, Ansley (Brise) Henson, and Abbigail (Sawyer) Smith; and great-granddaughter Harper Henson. She is also survived by her brother Haskell McQueen; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Paul (Vickie) Holman; and sister-in-law Lillian McQueen, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Amanda was a faithful and dedicated member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. For over 60 years, she was the church pianist for many churches, with Solid Rock being the latest. She was known for her kind heart, her love for people, and her famous sweet potato biscuits that brought joy to many. Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, and service to others.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Solid Rock Baptist Church. The Rev. Cody Cantrell and the Rev. Kevin Holman will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Sawyer Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
