Obituary

Annette Lowe Hallman, age 88, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024. Born on June 28, 1936, in Dahlonega, she was the beloved daughter of the late Leonard Lowe and Ethel Trammell Lowe.

Annette was a lifelong resident of Dahlonega, where she embraced the Baptist faith and was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church.  She had retired from Pinetree and Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Annette spent fourteen years of her later life as a nanny to Spencer and Delaney.

In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Pamela Teal, and her siblings, Paul Lowe, Bill Lowe, Junior Lowe, Beatrice Lowe, and Mary Ellen Cochran.

Annette is survived by her granddaughter Whitney Teal (Issac Mendoza); special friends Kasi Jones and Cyndi Durham and these friends held a cherished place in her heart and brought her immense joy and comfort throughout her later years.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Bobby Whitmire will officiate. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
