Mr. Arnold Couch, age 85, of Murrayville, went to meet Jesus on October 10, 2025.

Arnold loved his family, especially Jessie, his loving wife and caregiver of over 66 years. They were a match made in heaven and married at ages 15 and 17. His working career consisted of 25 years at the local Coca-Cola Bottling plant and over 20 years alongside Jessie at Coronet Carpets/Beaulieu of America, most of which were spent on the weekend night shift. Arnold had many hobbies and loved being outdoors and soaking up the summer sun. He took pride in gardening and would often give most of his fresh veggies to friends and family. He loved to fish and ride motorcycles, and always enjoyed being on his tractor and giving rides to his grandchildren when they were younger.

Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Columbus and Lena Couch; his brothers Ralph Couch, Ben (Edith) Couch, Howard (Sonie) Couch, Gene (Euline) Couch, James (Sue) Couch; his sisters Cora (Holman) Seabolt and Barbara Lingerfelt.

Mr. Couch is survived by his wife Jessie and children Kathy (Ronnie) Sammons, Patti (Gary) Copeland and Michael (Tina) Couch and his twin brother Donald Couch; special sister and brother in-law Lee and Charlotte Bryan; grandchildren, Nathaniel Copeland, Brooke Copeland, Patrick (Natalie) Sammons, Matthew Sammons, Michelle Simmons, Katie Pulley, John Pulley, and Logan Cain. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home Chapel, in Dahlonega, GA, on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 12, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and also on Monday, October 13, from 11:00 am until the service hour at the funeral home.
