Obituary

Ms. Audrey Blair Ash, born November 26, 1989, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021, in Louisville, Kentucky.

Audrey was preceded in death by her brother, Austin Ash; grandfather, "Pop" Larry Grizzle; grandfather, Ransom Ash, Sr.; grandmother, Linda Kinkead; and aunt, Trini Davis.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Nicole and George Oswell of Gainesville, Georgia; father and stepmother, Ransom and Rena Ash, Jr.; sister, Presley Ash; grandmother, "Nanny" Loretta Grizzle; aunt and uncle, Sabrina and Wayne Gooch; and cousins, Lauren and Eric Epperson, and Brooks and Avery Epperson, all of Dahlonega, Georgia. She is also survived by her lifelong best friends Ashley Poss and Brittany Kennedy.

Audrey was a 2008 graduate of Lumpkin County High School and a member of Concord Baptist Church.

Audrey was a confident, strong, independent woman that shared her smile with the world wherever she went. She never met a stranger and loved fiercely. She loved working at Dipper Dan's in Dahlonega and spending time with the women who worked there. Audrey loved adventure and was always up for anything fun. She loved her family and her friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand to whoever needed one. She will forever be missed by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you perform an act of kindness for someone in memory of Audrey. They also ask that you reach out to anyone who may be struggling with addiction or depression and tell them how much they are loved.

A celebration of life memorial will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until time of service.
