Barbara Copper, age 73, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away on February 10, 2026. Barbara was born on July 19, 1952, in Duluth, Georgia, to the late William Mann and the late Dorothy Louise Peavy Mann. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Barbara's life was centered on her family and her faith. She was known for her kind heart, steady strength, and the love she so freely shared with those around her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Dwight Cooper; her sisters, Sandra Sweatman and Patricia McKinzie; and her brothers, Howard Mann, Jerry Mann, and Gerald Mann.

She is survived by her sons, Kevin (Lynn) Cooper of Dahlonega, Allen (Amy) Cooper of Dahlonega, and Justin (Tabitha) Cooper of Dawsonville; her brother, Rickey Mann (Lyndell) of Alabama; her cherished grandchildren, Ben, Hunter, Brittanie, Jake, Laura, Caleb, Ethan, and Nathan Cooper; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Mae, James, Rosie, and Oakley Cooper. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.

A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 28, 2026, at Etowah Baptist Church. The Rev. Chris White, the Rev. Scott Christopher, the Rev. Mason Caine, and Mr. Benjamin Jones will officiate.
