Mrs. Barbara Ann Helton, age 53, of Dahlonega passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020.

Barbara was born in Forsyth County on July 19, 1966 to the late Charles and Donnis Jackson Edwards.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Andrew Helton.  Barbara fought a courageous battle with cancer.  She was deeply loved by her family and she was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Alan Helton, Dahlonega; son Casey Helton, Gainesville; sisters Sherry Allen, Dahlonega, Christine Jones, Cumming, and Donna Bennett (Ronnie), Cumming.

Barbara's wishes were to be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
