Mrs. Barbara Ann Maness, age 82, of Panama City Beach, Florida, formerly of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023.

She was born on May 19, 1940, in Dahlonega to the late Ralph Brackett and the late Era West Brackett. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed crocheting and keeping up with her North Georgia friends and family through Facebook.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Water Ray Maness; daughter Tammy Martin; brothers and sisters C.R. Brackett, Jack E. Brackett, Shirley Brackett Majors, Jerry "Snooks" Brackett, and Danny Brackett.

Barbara is survived by her siblings, Millie Neal of Bonaire, Georgia, Sandra Brackett Hansen, Ricky (Cathy) Brackett, and Johnny Majors of Dahlonega, Georgia.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, March 31, 2023, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Kris Butler and the Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. The family will accept friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
