"Bobbie Sue" lived most of her life in Dahlonega, GA.

She was the daughter of the late Ed and Addie Holloway Thompson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Thompson, brothers, Freeman Thompson, Roy Lewis Thompson, John Leeford Thompson, and Fred Thompson; and sister, Ruth Lingerfelt.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Marvin Eddie Burnette, Cleveland, GA; sister, Eva Mae Brookshire, Dahlonega, GA; grandchildren, Rebecca Thomas, Scott Linhorst, Melissa Scales, Michelle Mckibbon, and Marty Pierce. 16 great-grandchildren and a large number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Banister Funeral Home chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev Alan Passmore will officiate.

Interment will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 10 AM until 1 PM.
