Barbara Ellen Wilson, age 73, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on July 19, 2025. She was born on December 23, 1951, in New Orleans, LA, to the late Leonce Vidal and Thelma Jenkins Vidal. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Charles Wilson; her children, Thomas Wilson, Jerry Wilson, and Alisha Fisher; siblings Annie Aldred and Julie Stafford; grandchildren Andrew Fisher, Zachary Wilson, and Joanna Fisher; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

Barbara had a heart of gold and found joy in making others smile. She adored playing Bingo and cherished the Christmas season, where she brought magic to life as Mrs. Claus, creating memorable moments for many. She was cherished by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
