Bernice R. Taylor, age 89, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025. She was born on April 24, 1936, to the late Buck Raines and Eva Milsap Raines.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Alfred Taylor; sons, Robert Taylor and Ray Taylor; brothers, John Raines and Jim Raines; sister, Marie Fields; and daughters-in-law, Maria Taylor and Sue Taylor.

Bernice loved to cook, sew, and can food, and she found great joy in sharing her home and her kitchen with family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her loved ones will always be remembered.

She is survived by her loving children, Edward (Paula) Taylor, Allen (Donna) Taylor, Donna (Mike) Evans, and Wayne (Courtney) Taylor; cherished grandchildren, Candice Taylor, Emily (Dustin) Jones, Jacob Taylor, Aaron (D.J.) Chavez, and Krystal Presley; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Ann Chester and Lois (Edwin) Pirkle; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Bethel Tabernacle, with the Rev. Lyman Caldwell and the Rev. Shannon Wingo officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with the Rev. Rex Fuller officiating. The family will receive friends at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
