Bette Rae Bricker, age 79, of Cleveland, Georgia, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026.

Born on January 30, 1947, in Indiana, Bette Rae was the daughter of the late Raymond Bricker and the late Betty Lou Spencer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved dog and faithful companion, Cherokee Rose, who held a very special place in her heart.

Bette Rae was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She cherished her family above all else and found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved.

She is survived by her sons, David Wimpy (Patti), Doug Wimpy (Melissa), and Robby Robinson (Christina); her brother, Randy Bricker (Pam); and her sister, Caroline Hester (Don). She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Richard Dix (Beth), Trey Dix, and Charles Lee Wimpy; and her great-grandchildren, Aden, Candace, and Blakeney Dix, as well as Harper and Hudson Dix.

Bette Rae is further survived by her nieces and nephews, Mistie Stephens (Mike), Randa London (Jake), Tara Hester, and Spencer Hester; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tanner Hilton, Travis Hilton, Wyatt London and Scarlett London. Each of them brought immense pride and happiness to her life.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Robinson and the Rev. Wayne McKinney will officiate. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Community Chapel in the Frogtown community, with the Rev. Casey Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
