Mrs. Betty J. Salter, age 92, of Dahlonega passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Betty was born on February 27, 1929, to the late Dewey (Doc) and Edna Lipscomb of Dahlonega, Georgia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Salter and her brothers William (Bill) and George Lipscomb.

She is survived by her five nieces Penny Nelms of Franklin, Tennessee, Laura McKinley of Fernandina Beach, Florida, and Melinda, Nancy, and Lisa Lipscomb of Dahlonega, Georgia.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM to the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
