Mr. Bill Grizzle, age 62, of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Mr. Grizzle was born in Lumpkin County on July 14, 1955 to the late Jim and Lois Rider Grizzle. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Ed Grizzle, Ernest Grizzle, John Grizzle, Hubert Grizzle, sister Zona Anderson and granddaughter Neela Ann Ayala. Mr. Grizzle was a lifelong resident of Lumpkin County. He retired from Fieldale Farms. Mr. Grizzle loved his grandbabies and enjoyed spending time working on lawnmowers.  Mr. Grizzle was a member of Hightower Baptist Church.

Mr. Grizzle is survived by his wife Mrs. Julie Ann Grizzle; son and daughter in law James and Jamie Grizzle; son and daughter in law William and Kayla Grizzle; daughter Jennifer Grizzle; daughter and fiancé Delisha Grizzle and Steven Passmore; grandchildren Luke Grizzle, Elsie Grizzle, Kyliee Grizzle, Skyla Grizzle, Aaliyah Grizzle; brothers and sisters in law Herbert and Martha Grizzle, Clyde and Marie Grizzle, Grady and Patricia Grizzle; brother Henry Grizzle; sisters Stella Odom, Lila Spriggs, Marie " Fannie" Seigler, Annie Grizzle and father and mother in law Harold and Marie Murphy.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Banister Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Danny Jarrard and the Rev. Jerry Whitlock will officiate. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Dahlonega.  The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home.
