Brenda Lee Bruce, age 49, of Cumming, GA passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Northside-Forsyth Hospital. Brenda was born in Cumming, GA July 1, 1966 and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was the daughter of the late James Willard Bruce and Patsy Beck Bruce. Brenda is survived by her husband,Wayne Woodham; children, Jennifer Mitchell and Cynthia Bruce, all of Cumming, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Penny and Ricky Lowe, Janice and Daniel Gibbs, Rejonah and Tony Fortner; grandchildren, Levi White, Bryson Williams, Hunter Williams, Julian Williamson, Bentley Dore, A.J., Ember, and Tom Johnson. A number of other relatives also survive. Funeral services for Brenda are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Harmony Baptist Church in Dawson County. Rev. Ed Gee will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 3 PM until 9 PM.
