Brenda Louis “Nana” Linder, age 79, passed away on October 2nd, 2026. She was born on November 24th, 1946, to the late Mary Louise Neisler and William Franklin Griffin Sr.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Marsha Barnes, daughter-in-law, Jill Linder, nephew, John Brewster, grandsons; Justin Brewster and Alex Linder.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Tinsley (Jessie), sons; Timothy Linder, Tommy Linder (Andrea), and Joshua Griffin, brothers; Billy Griffin Jr. (Becky), and Bill Griffin III, honorary daughter, Joni Creger, and sister, Tonya Hicks.

The family will receive friends at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 8:00pm on Monday, October 5th, 2026, and on Tuesday October 6th from 9:00am to 1:00pm. A service will be held at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Josh Coker and her son Tommy Linder with officiate.
