Mrs. Brenda Sue Miller, age 67, of Gainesville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, September 15, 2022.

Mrs. Miller was born in Dahlonega on August 13, 1955, to Leon Herbert and Edith Jean Alford.  She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Alford; husband Don Miller; and brother-in-law Larry Black.  Mrs. Miller loved crafting, playing online games and loved her Facebook friends.  Her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Jamey Abercrombie (Jodi) of Gainesville, Jason Abercrombie of Gainesville, Justin Abercrombie (Melina) of Gainesville; mother Edith Alford of Dahlonega; brother Ronnie Alford (Cyndi) of Flowery Branch; sisters Robin Black of Dahlonega, Cathy Gooch (Danny) of Dahlonega, and Sandi Passmore of Dahlonega; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2022, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Chris Anderson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
