Mr. Joseph Bruce Jones, age 78, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

Bruce was born in Dahlonega on October 26, 1942 to the late Walter Lee and Izora Lee Wheeler Jones.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Paul Jones.  He was retired from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company.  Bruce was a wonderful husband, father, and papa to his precious grandchildren.  He also enjoyed fishing with his good friends.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gladys Burnett Jones; daughter Cheryl Jones Trulock and her husband Glenn of Milton, Georgia; two grandchildren Cailyn and Grace; brother Glendon Jones and his wife Claudine; and sisters Bonnie Lingerfelt and Mary Lou Gooch.

Graveside Services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Dahlonega Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Prince will officiate.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to your church or favorite charity.
