Mrs. Carol Anderson, age 69, of Dahlonega passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022. She was born on July 14, 1952, in Dahlonega, Georgia to the late O.G. Seabolt and the late Allene Buffington.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Grady Seabolt, and two half brothers, Kenneth Seabolt and J.S. Seabolt.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Michael Anderson of Dahlonega; daughter Anita Spangler (Mike) of Dover, DE; sister Shirley Welch (Freddy) of Dahlonega; and grandchildren Anderson Spangler and Michaela Spangler of Dover, DE. Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion #2 with Pastor Stephen Gerrells, Rev. Charles Grant and Rev. Wayne Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, with Rev. Les Fuller officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Saturday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion #2 Cemetery Fund in memory of Carol.
