Mrs. Cecelia Fredda "Freddie" Dunn, age 72, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at her home following an extended illness.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Chattanooga, TN and had lived in Lumpkin County for the past 28 years. She lived in Forest Park, GA for many years. She was human resources director at Gold City Convalescent Center in Dahlonega for a number of years. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA.

Mrs. Dunn was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick Kellis and Duffy Isabell Ezell Kellis.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Edwin Eugene (Gene) Dunn, Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Julie Dunn, Dahlonega, GA; sister, Patricia (Pat) Stroud, Chattanooga, TN; nephews and niece; grandchildren, Zachery McClure, Williston, ND, Joseph McClure, Cumming, GA, Heather McClure, Cumming, GA, Loretta Maynor, Cleveland, GA, and Felicia Harris, Cumming, GA. Freddie has 6 grandchildren and one on the way and possibly one more through adoption.

Funeral services for Freddie are scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Pastors performing the service are Bro. Charles Blackstock and Bro. Owen Held.

Interment will follow at 2 PM on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 351 Morrow Rd., Forest Park, GA 30050.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home of Dahlonega, GA on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 2 PM until 9 PM and again on Wednesday morning until service time.
