Mr. Cecil Coe, age 84, of Mountain City, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1939, to the late Irvin Coe and the late Mary Emma Clay Coe. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, Thomas Coe and Buster Coe; stepdaughter Candis Parker; and siblings Jesse Coe, Lovell Coe, Curtis Coe, James Coe, Eddie B. Coe, Ruby Coe, Lily Mae Coe, and Berta Mae Coe.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gale Parker Coe of Mountain City; children Teresa (Danny) Combs of Jackson, Georgia, Wanda "Squeaky" (James "Squash") Davis of Blairsville, Christina (Mark) Smith of Newington, Georgia, and Mandy (Kenneth) Mantle; brother J.P. Coe of Woodbury, Georgia; stepchildren Wayne (Ashley) Parker, Missy Parker, and Chrissy Faulkner; 26 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Macedonia Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
