Mr. Charles "Charlie" King Howard, age 70, of Dahlonega, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023. He was born in Cook County, IL, to the late Clyde King and Margaret Ball Howard. In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue Howard, brothers Junior Howard and Russie Howard, and sisters Helen Howard and Martha Hill.

Charlie was a skilled heavy equipment operator who dedicated his life to his craft. Music was a constant companion for Charlie, who had a deep love for playing the guitar and immersing himself in the world of melodies. Whether strumming chords or losing himself in the notes of his favorite tunes, Charlie found solace and happiness in the rhythm of life. Beyond his professional pursuits, Charlie found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Lisa Howard, Dahlonega; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
