Mr. Chase Garrett, age 23, of Dahlonega passed away Monday, September 6, 2021. He was born on August 13, 1998, in Gainesville, Georgia to Gary Garrett and Crystal Brown. Chase was a self-employed landscape artist and worked day in and day out with his uncle Richie. Chase attended Lumpkin County High School and was a member of Salem Baptist Church in Dahlonega.

He is survived by his parents, Crystal Dawn Brown and Gary (Tammy) Garrett, all of Dahlonega; children, Bentley Chase Garrett, Callie Garrett, and Ava Garrett; sister, Morgan Garrett; brothers, Cody Brown, Chandler Waters, and Dylan Perry; fiancé Sierra Shelton; maternal grandmother, Joyce Brown; paternal grandmother, Roberta Garrett; great-grandmother, Nellie Collins; and aunts and uncles, George and Maybell Duff, David and Shirley Key, and Richie Brown.

He is preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Richard Brown; paternal grandparents, Roberta and John Henry Garrett; and great-grandfather, Clyde Collins.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, September 13, 2021, in the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Rev. Kris Butler officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Salem Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
