Mrs. Christine Florence Fields, age 95, of Dahlonega, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1928, in Copper Hill, Tennessee, to the late Watson and Constance Walker. Mrs. Fields was very passionate about quilting, enjoyed crossword, loved spending time with her family, and was a member of Yahoola Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ollie Fields; and siblings Eunice Roberts, Leon Walker, and Roberta Thomas.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Schafer of Bunnell, Florida, and Michael (Tamra) Fields of Akron, Ohio; grandchildren Tracy Stump (Robert), Ian Fields (Dana), and Nicole Hudson (Bobby); brother Lowell Walker (Sharon); 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Kris Butler and the Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will take place in the Cemetery of Yahoola Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
