Clarence Edward "Eddie" Flanagan, age 52, of Dawsonville, GA (Lumpkin County) passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017.

Eddie always saw the good in every person and never had a bad word to say. He was loved by many and was his mother's world.

Eddie was born on June 14, 1964 in Dahlonega, GA to James Henry and Shirley Ann Anderson Flanagan.

He is preceded in death by his father, James Henry Flanagan; grandparents, Ralph and Sallie Mae Anderson, Willie and Amy Flanagan; uncles, James Edward Anderson, Clarence Anderson; niece, Amanda Bagwell; and many numerous other aunts, uncles and other relatives.

Eddie is survived by his mother, Shirley Ann Flanagan, Dawsonville, GA (Lumpkin County); brother and sister-in-law, James Darrell Flanagan and Kimberly Beck, Dawsonville, GA (Lumpkin County); sisters and brothers-in-law, Renee and Scott Bagwell, Gainesville, GA, Martha Bower, Dawsonville, GA (Lumpkin County), Linda and Gene Grizzle, Dawsonville, GA (Lumpkin County). Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Eddie are scheduled for 3 PM Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 4 PM until 9 PM and again on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 10 AM until time of service.
