Cliff
Loggins
November 1, 1936 – June 2, 2023
Mr. Cliff Loggins, age 86, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023. He was born on November 1, 1936, in Hall County, Georgia, to the late Charlie Loggins and Francis Powers Loggins.
Mr. Loggins was of the Holiness faith. He loved his family and was affectionately known as "Papa" by his grandchildren. If you ever saw his garden, it was no secret that he took much pride in growing and caring for his crops. Some might say he kept the prettiest garden in all of Hall County. But, whether he was in the garden, hunting, fishing, or just spending time in the mountains, as long as he was outside in God's beautiful creation, he was a happy man at heart.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy Virginia Smallwood Loggins; daughter Barbara Sue Mulkey; and siblings C Loggins, Nellie Mae Smallwood, Palmour Loggins, Frank Loggins, Robert Loggins, Edna Whisnant, Oscar Loggins, and Claude Loggins.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, JoAnn Wolfe (Jeffrey) of Royston, Gail Parker (Tommy) of Gillsville, Charles Jimmy Loggins of Murrayville, Patti Wells of Dahlonega, and Becky Conner (Mike) of Murrayville; grandchildren Jason Mulkey, Stephanie Hanley, Jeffery "Chip" Lunsford, Paige Southard, Nathan Parker, Dana Lynn Foy, Jimmy Loggins, Shawn Wells, and Kenny Wells; great-grandchildren, Daniel Mulkey, Zack Mulkey, Nick Mulkey, Rhett Loggins, Mason Foy, Tucker Foy, J.D. Southard, Michael Rider, Colton Wells, Dustin Wells, Dalton Wells, and one coming soon, Bryce Jackson Hanley; great-great-grandchildren Wyatt Wells and Walker Wells. Several nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. James Kanaday and the Rev. Rex Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow in the cemetery of Restoration Worship Center. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Friday, June 9, 2023, from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
