Daniel Fred Sharkey, age 71, originally of Fiskdale, MA, and more recently, within the past ten years, resided in Dahlonega, GA, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

Dan was born on April 2, 1951, and after attending Tantasqua Regional High School, attended and was a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. He was a successful chef for many years in Massachusetts. He retired from his chef position in 2013.

He leaves his sister, Ann (Ken) White; brother James (Jean) Sharkey; two nieces, two nephews, a grandniece, and a grandnephew. He is preceded in death by his mother, Christine, and father, Joseph, who lived and worked in Fiskdale for many years.
