Mr. Danny Rogers, age 55, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021.

Danny was born in Towns County on October 15, 1965 to the late Gus and Margaret Abercrombie Rogers. He was of the Christian faith and attended several churches and most often it was Clemons Chapel United Methodist Church. Danny loved all animals but dearest to his heart were his two cats and "Todd", his dog. He had a creative hand that was seen in his profession as a carpenter and knife maker. Danny was a man that loved the outdoors, particularly panning for gold, and hunting. To relax at the end of a work day was to watch a good western movie on television. Danny was dearly loved and will be missed.

Missing him most will be his son Daniel Rogers, Dahlonega; daughter Brooke Lynn Rogers, Clermont; granddaughter, who lovingly called him "Paw", Catalina Rogers; sisters Cathy Rider, Dahlonega, and Patty Rogers; brother and sister-in-law Sonny and Phyliss Rogers, all of Hiawassee; sisters and brothers-in-law Jane and Shannon Watson, Clermont, and Carol and Paul Wheeler, Clayton; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Clemons Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Mike Stewart will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until the service hour at the church.
