Mr. David Lyle Ledford, 65, of Andrews NC, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton, GA, following a brief illness.

David was born on September 9, 1959, in Hall County to Warren Hardin and Grace Mathis Ledford. He was a free spirited individual and enjoyed riding backroads, forestry roads and  generally having a good time.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by siblings; Warren Ledford, Terry Ledford, Johnny Ledford, and Cathy Richardson.

He is survived by his children; Brittany Nicole (Cory) Watson of Lula, and Devon (Shelly) Ledford of Commerce: grandchildren Caden, Bailey and Cailey Watson, and Dustin, Skylar and Xander Ledford; great-grandchild Collin Jordan; siblings Jan Barrett of Dahlonega, Tommy Ledford of Andrews, NC, Era Mae Ledford of Murphy, NC, and Donna Haan of Andrews, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home with Scott Fendley officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
