Mrs. Denise Lynn Newell, age 58, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on August 17, 2025. She was born on September 27, 1966, to the late Linda Sue Works. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her son, Phillip Pumphrey.

She is survived by her sons, Anthony (Hanna) Newell of Dahlonega, and Justin Newell of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Caleb Murphy, Maddisyn Newell, Conner Pumphrey, Jaxon Pumphrey, and Damon Pumphrey.

Denise had a servant's heart and was always putting others before herself. She loved her family more than anything and will be remembered as a truly amazing woman.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00PM - 2:00PM
