Dennis Harman, age 71, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on March 3, 2022, after an extended illness. He was born in Queens, New York, and is survived by his wife, Patricia, whom he loved just a little bit less than he loved the Lord. Dennis promised to always make her laugh; His humor, wit, and gentle soul accomplished that. After a long career in the Miami Postal Service, he and Patricia retired to North Georgia, where they had spent many vacations hiking. They enjoyed their days hiking in the beautiful North Georgia mountains and spending peaceful nights by a campfire.

He was loved by animals (especially his lifetime of dog buddies) and people alike. Dennis found joy in sharing with others his experiences with bears; They would recognize a kindred spirit in him when he hiked the woods alone. Nature was his friend, and he loved to be in it.

He had an artistic soul writing beautiful imagery poetry, creating ikebana flower arrangements, and creating Japanese-inspired paintings. He loved to share his artistic creations with others as he considered his artistry a God-given gift and enjoyed making others happy with it.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War era, attaining the rank of Sergeant. After the war, he served his Heavenly Father with his personal witness (often at the direction of the Lord in specific situations.) His witness brought others to faith in Jesus. After serving his country, he was passionate about knowing the Bible and how much our Creator loved us. He became an effective witness to that love. Now Dennis is at peace with his heavenly "Daddy."
