Mr. Dennis Harold Johnson, age 63, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on June 23, 2026.

Born on September 26, 1962, in the United Kingdom, Dennis was the son of the late Leslie Johnson and the late Joyce Wright Johnson. He dedicated 26 years of service as an associate of Home Depot, several of which were as a Department Supervisor, where he was respected for his hard work, leadership, and dedication.

Dennis will be remembered for a life marked by service, gratitude, and patriotism. He possessed a deep appreciation for the blessings in his life and was known for his willingness to help others, his steadfast character, and his love for family and country.

Survivors include his children, Aubrey Meagher, Catherine Johnson, and Mathew Johnson; sister, Victoria Wilson; niece, Gloria Wilson; nephew, Elijah Wilson; grandchildren, August Hicks and Keary Meagher; and special relatives, Annie Hoover, Donald Hoover, Emma Hoover, James Hoover, Carl Wilson, and Sean Meagher.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will host a reception with light refreshments following the service in the lounge of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.

In honor of Dennis' patriotic spirit and love for his country, guests are encouraged to wear traditional funeral attire, or red, white, and blue patriotic attire to the visitation and Celebration of Life service.

Dennis passed away following a courageous battle with a rare kidney cancer known as Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma.
