Devon Michael Lee Whitmire, age 24, passed away on July 28, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories with his loved ones. Born on February 20, 2000, in Edmond, Oklahoma, Devon was the beloved son of Jeff Whitmire and Telisha Tritt.

In addition to his parents, Devon is survived by his girlfriend, Teagan Adams of Luther, OK, and his adored children, Braivlee Whitmire and Eastlee Whitmire, both of Luther, OK. He is also survived by his siblings Kaynon Tritt, Paytlynn Tritt of Dahlonega, and Bradin Orebaugh of Edmond, OK. His maternal grandfather, Bill Lofton, and his uncle and aunt, Ronnie and Laura Tritt of Dahlonega, mourn his passing along with numerous friends and other relatives.

Devon was known for his free spirit and zest for life. He approached each day with enthusiasm and enjoyed every moment to the fullest. A loving father and a dear friend, Devon touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness.

Funeral services to honor and celebrate Devon's life will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Anderson Underwood Funeral Home. The Reverend Lance Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow at the cemetery of Hightower Baptist Church, with the Reverend Lyman Caldwell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
