Mrs. Donna Lynn Jackson, age 76, of Dahlonega, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022.

Mrs. Jackson was born in Granite City, Illinois, on August 19, 1946, to the late William and Melva Pitman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sheron K. Gray and her brother William A. Pitman. Mrs. Jackson was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She worked as a paralegal and had retired from Elan and Kiel Pharmaceuticals. She fought a courageous battle with Dementia until the Lord called her home as her loving family surrounded her.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Jackson Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis Jr. and Melissa Jackson; daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Joseph Castleberry; sister Kathleen Peterson Zeller; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2022, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Les Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM in the Georgia National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
