Donna Skaggs, age 58, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on October 12, 2024. She was born on January 13, 1966, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Maurice Skaggs and Joann Sparks Skaggs. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Becky Hart, and her dear best friend, Sherri.

Donna is survived by her loving children, Nathan Merck (Meagan Shultz) and Megan (David) Supernor; her cherished grandchildren, Autumn (Chad) Merck and Cathan Merck, and their mother, Ashly Tolbert. She also leaves behind her brothers, Maurice Skaggs II and David (Lynn) Skaggs, who will miss her dearly.

Donna was known for her love of conversation and her boundless affection for her grandchildren. She had a soft spot for Chihuahua dogs and even kangaroos, always finding joy in the quirkiest things. With a sharp sense of humor, Donna had the unique ability to turn any negative situation into something positive, and her generous heart accepted everyone just as they were.

A private memorial service will be held to honor her memory. Donna will be remembered for her warmth, laughter, and the love she shared with those around her.
