Mrs. Dorothy Marie Cummings, age 94, of Dahlonega, passed away on August 24, 2022.

Mrs. Cummings was born in Quitman, MS, on January 23, 1928, to the late James and Doris Doherty. Mrs. Cummings was raised and lived most of her life in south Mississippi. She worked and retired with Globe Life Insurance Company and saw many changes throughout her career. From days of the keypunch operations to flat computer screens. Most Sundays, you would find her singing in her church choir or on pretty days, working and tending to her beautiful rose garden. In addition to her parents, those to greet her in Heaven will be her husbands Jerome Moak, Frank Moffett, and Roger Cummings, sons David Moak and Richard Moak, brothers James Doherty and William Doherty, sister June Doherty, and son-in-law R.W. Nored.

She is survived by her son Terry Moak (Cheryl), Tylertown, MS; daughter Sherry Nored, Franklin, NC; brother Bobby Doherty (Carol), Warner Robins; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
