Mr. Dwight Eugene Cooper, age 73, of Dahlonega, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. He was born in Buford, GA on July 18, 1951, to the late Edward and Dorothy Martin Cooper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers David and Ray Cooper, and sister Susie Cooper.

Survivors include his loving wife of 58 years, Barbara Cooper of Dahlonega; sons, Kevin (Lynn) Cooper, Allen (Amy) Cooper of Dahlonega, Justin (Tabitha) Cooper of Dawsonville; sister, Lynda Mann of Tennessee; grandchildren, Ben, Hunter, Brittanie, Jake, Laura, Caleb, Ethan, and Nathan Cooper; great-grandchildren, Mae, James, and Rosie Cooper; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mr. Cooper was a faithful member of Mtn. View Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School. Known affectionately as "Paw Paw," he cherished time with his family and enjoyed tinkering, building, and trips to The Home Depot. He had a special bond with his loyal companion, his dog Buddy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Mtn. View Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Darrin Sams, Rev. Chris White, Rev. Mason Caine, and Rev. Carol Pruitt.
