Mr. Earl Patrick Holloway, age 77, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021.

Earl was born in Suches on September 23, 1943. He is preceded in death by his mother Lucille Corbin, sons Scotty Holloway and Stacey Holloway, and brothers Danny Corbin and Davie Corbin. Earl attended Woody Gap School in Suches. Being raised in the North Georgia Mountains it was easy for him to love fishing, camping, and woodworking. Earl had a favorite pastime of watching the Andy Griffith Show or a NASCAR Race. He deeply loved his family. Earl was known as "Papa" to his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bonnie Holloway, Dahlonega; daughter and son-in law Cheryl and Ray Keith, Lula; daughter and her fiancé Sandra Holloway and Paul Pressley, Dahlonega; grandchildren Patrick and Jamie Holloway, Penny and James Beck, James and Megan Holloway, Justin and Stacey Holloway, Selina Edwards and Mark Haynes, and Heather and Travis Hyde; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Steve and Sandra Corbin, Dahlonega; sister and brother-in-law Lora and Don Cantrell; brother and sister-in-law Allen "Joe" and Charlotte Corbin, all of Suches; daughters-in-law Michelle Gunter, and Tammy Holloway; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The Rev. Carl Helton, the Rev. Kelly Gunter, and the Rev. Bobby Bugg will officiate. Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Suches. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Monday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
