Mrs. Elsie Joan Dupuy, age 89, of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020.

Mrs. Dupuy was born in New Orleans, LA on November 6, 1930 to the late John and Elsie Morgan Magendie. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Harold Louis Dupuy. St. Luke's Catholic Church and Mrs. Dupuy's family were her greatest loves. After many years of dedicated service with the Internal Revenue Service she retired and spent the rest of her life as a homemaker.

Survivors include her daughter, Jolene Mitcham, Dahlonega, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Shirley Dupuy, Dawsonville, GA; daughter, Susan Dupuy; son, Danny Dupuy, both of Dahlonega, GA; sister Carol Wright, Mississippi; and ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:30 AM Friday, October 9, 2020 at St. Luke's Catholic Church. Father Bob Frederick will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday with a Rosary to be held at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

While attending the visitation and Mass please practice a safe distance. Masks will also be required.
