Obituary

Mrs. Emogene "Jean" Clem, age 83, of Dahlonega, GA passed away at her home on Friday July 7, 2017.

Mrs. Clem was a native of Greenwood, SC who had lived in Lumpkin County since 1999. She was a former resident of Thomaston, GA. Jean retired from Jefferson Mills after 32 years of service. Jean spent the later years of her life fostering and being a nanny for many children. She was of the Baptist faith and attended church regularly.

Jean was the daughter of the late Ladell Weeks and Rosa Lee Singleton Weeks and she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Clem Jr.; sisters, Lou Ella Wiley, Ruth Cothran; brothers, Thomas Weeks, Clarence Weeks, Paul Weeks, David Weeks and Fulton Weeks.

Mrs. Clem is survived by sons, Joe Seigler, Stockbridge, GA, Danny Seigler and Tim Seigler, both of Dahlonega, GA; brother, Jim Weeks, Greenwood, SC; brother-in-law and his wife, Rallie and Ruth Seigler, Columbia, SC; 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchild and numerous other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Jean are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA.

Rev. Tommy Ross will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Banister Funeral Home in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6 PM until 8 PM.
