Ms. Erin Michele Petersen, age 47, of Dahlonega passed away Friday, May 10, 2024.

So, who was Erin Petersen?

She was a strong, athletically gifted person with interests and achievements in ballet, swimming, scuba diving, paragliding, kayaking, horseback riding, etc.

She had a curious mind:  a love to explore (spelunking and travel among them), interact with people and enjoy new experiences.

Her spirit was righteous. She expected the best of others as well as herself which at times meant she was taken advantage of.

Her soul was good and caring. She loved people and nature- animals, land, sea and sky. Dogs were her soulmates which she cared for diligently.

So… that's a glimpse of our complicated daughter whom we miss greatly.
