Mr. Faron Keith Saxton, age 62, of Hull, GA, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023.

Faron was born on June 2, 1960, to the late Harvey Dale Saxton and Juanita Burkhalter Henson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Andy Henson.

Faron proudly and honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a loving husband, father, and beloved "Papa."  Faron owned and operated Saxton Flooring Company. He loved Georgia football, and there was a time you could often find him at Peachstate Speed Way racing, which time he shared with his son.

Faron loved The Lord and served as Youth Pastor for many years at Harmony Baptist Church. He loved God's Word and the hope it brought, and he will forever be remembered by those who received his daily devotions on Facebook. Faron loved reading the "Daily Bread" devotional, and he shared God's love for lost people as often as he could.

Survivors include his wife Tracy Saxton, Hull; daughter Ashleigh Parnell (Jason), Watkinsville; son Zachery Saxton (Tabitha Hardeman), Hull; grandchildren Jace Saxton, Wade Parnell, Adalynn Hardeman, Rhett Saxton; sister Holly Hensen; brothers David Saxton and Scott Saxton; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Center Community Cemetery with military honors.
The Rev. Mike Stowers will officiate.
