Mr. F.E. (Gene) Bryant, 85 of Gainesville passed away Saturday July 18, 2026 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

Born in Lumpkin County, Mr. Bryant had lived in Hall County for most of his life. He was the son of the late Carl and Lucille Sims Bryant. Mr. Bryant founded Bryant Concrete Products in 1986 and was a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church, where he also was a member of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. Mr. Bryant was also a proud and faithful member of Blue Mountain Lodge #38 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Elliott Bryant, daughters and son-in-law, Kaye (Steve) Jackson, Cheryl Pendley, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jessica (Chris) Gibbs, Haddie & Granger Gibbs, Brandon (Megan) Pendley, Evelyn & Magnolia Pendley, Jordan (Ariana) Pendley, Adyson, Bryant & Lakin, Hayden & Dylon Jackson. A number of nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to Yellow Creek Baptist Church/ Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 526, Murrayville, Georgia 30564.

The family would like to say a special Thank You to all the nurses, doctors and staff of Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center for their loving care shown to Gene during this difficult time.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday July 21, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. at the Yellow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ricky Stone will officiate. The family will receive friends at Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home in Dahlonega on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
