Mr. William Frank Davis Jr., age 75, of Dahlonega passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018.

Mr. Davis was born in Lumpkin County on August 21, 1942 to the late William Frank Sr. and Ruby Willoughby Davis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Gwendol Elaine McDougald.  Mr. Davis was self employed as a painter. He was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law Lynn and Randy White, Dahlonega; son William Tosh Davis, Cherokee, NC; brother and sister in law Jerry and Ola Davis, Dahlonega; sister and brother in law Ann and Victor Adams, Gainesville; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, March 2, 2018 at the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-9:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
