Frankie Ann Cook, age, 76, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Ann was born in Lumpkin County, Georgia, on February 12, 1950, to the late Miller Rider and Iver Jones Rider. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" Cook; sisters, Mamie Rider, Edith Rider, Flossie Rider, Elise Bair, Jere Anderson, and Hazel Satterfield;  and brothers, Henry Rider and Douglas Rider.

She is survived by her daughters, LeighAnn Cleary (Jarod), and Jeri Fuller; grandchildren, Dylan Cleary, Weston Fuller, and Grant Fuller; sister, Bobbie Kimmel; brother, Ricky Rider; special nieces and nephews, Angie Fortner, and Patsy Cantrell (Clarence), Al Satterfield (Jerlene), Phil Satterfield (Teresia), Barbie Depew (Glenn), Beth Ivy (Coy), and David Bair. As well as special great great nieces and nephews; special friends, Johnny Major, Vickie Burns, Brenda White, Jan Tolbert, Ken White, and many cousins and friends whom she loved and cherished.

Ann loved her family and her work. After retiring from 911, she enjoyed making beautiful flower arrangements and crafts of all kinds. She also loved puzzles, the more pieces the better.

Service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Anderson Underwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Lyman Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour on Tuesday at the funeral home.
