Mr. Gary J. Heavrin, age 68, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on February 15, 2023. He was born on October 9, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Robert and the late Ruby Kate Heavrin. Gary was a longtime employee for Kubota Manufacturing where he made many lifelong friends. His work ethics and character will always be remembered by those he worked with. Gary had a passion for the outdoors, animals, and guns.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert P. Heavrin.

He is survived by his sister, Sue Brace; nieces and nephews Christine W. Stickle, Matt and Angie Dunlap, Derek and Carrie Barbour, Brian Mikeals, Amber Heavrin Anderson and Jay and Holly Kimmel. 18 great nieces and nephews also survive.

It was Gary's wish to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
