Mrs. Glenda Gail Bell, age 71, of Dahlonega passed away September 24, 2021. She was born March 2, 1950, to the late Mr. Glenn and Madge Parrish Rider.

Mrs. Glenda will be greatly missed by her family and friends whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed spending time with her family as much as she could. She especially loved her grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mena" or "Grandma". She also held a special place in her heart for her second family, Debbie, Stacey, Tina, and staff at the Evergreen Terrace Personal Care Home. The family would like to extend a very special "thank you" to her second family for the care and love she received from them.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, James Julian Bell.

She is survived by children Julie (Tracy) Caldwell, Blue Ridge, and Greg (Elizabeth) Bell, Dahlonega; grandchildren Lydia (Cornel) du Preez, Chase Bell, and Sarah Ann Bell; sister Janet Rider, Cumming; nephews Jody Nix (family), and Nathan Nix; and great-grandchild Adelaide Chase Bell.

A Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, September 27, 2021, at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time.
