Glenn Russell Conner, age 83, of Murrayville, Georgia, passed away on March 23, 2026.

Mr. Conner was born on March 27, 1942, in Dahlonega, Georgia, to the late Dick Conner and the late Dovie Hughes Conner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Eston (Pearl) Conner, Lois (Stuard) Sullens, Valerie (Ralph) Farr, and Irene (Edward) Anderson; and his brother-in-law, L.G. Mullinax.

Glenn is survived by his sister, Bobbie Conner Mullinax; his devoted niece and caregiver, Vickie Kendrix; as well as several other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends, especially the past employees of Murrayville Pharmacy, who were all so good to him over the years.

For many years, Glenn owned and operated a garage in Murrayville, where he became well known and respected throughout the community. He was a low-key man who appreciated the simple things in life. Known for his kindness and steady presence, Glenn was good to people and a friend to many. When his health allowed, he attended Hopewell United Methodist Church in Murrayville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 27, 2026, in the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home, with Rev. Stephen Adams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hopewell Methodist Church Cemetery Fund for the future upkeep of the cemetery. Those donations may be sent to PO Box 2714 Gainesville, Georgia, 30503.
