Mr. Harold Dale Gilstrap, age 62, of Dahlonega passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020.

Mr. Gilstrap was born in Hall County on April 9, 1957.  He was preceded in death by his father George Clifford Gilstrap and his sister Linda Gilstrap.  Harold had worked with the Lumpkin County Maintenance Department for a number of years and then retired as a self-employed welder.  He loved to play the guitar and was a member of the "Black Mountain Ramblers" singing group.  Harold was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughter Angie Gilstrap; mother Roberta Gilstrap; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Cathy Gilstrap; granddaughter Kayla Williams; grandson Zachary Williams; best friend Doug Gilstrap ( Angela), all of Dahlonega; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at the chapel of Anderson-Underwood Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lyman Caldwell will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
