Mr. Jack Alexander, age 78, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away after a brief illness on Monday, November 28, 2022. Jack was preceded in death on June 11, 2022, by his loving wife of 16 years, Gerry. He is survived by step-children Jay Parks (Diann) of Lawrenceville and their daughter Katelyn, Pam Parks (Wendy Franklin) of Murrayville and their son Ben Parks; sisters Lesa Deiman (Greg) of Eagan, Minnesota, Ann Marie Woolsey (Sam) of The Dalles, Oregon, Kay Elverum of Helena, Montana; brother Patrick Dopler of Missoula, Montana; three nieces, five nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

Jack was born in San Antonio, Texas, the oldest of eight children. He was proud of being a Vietnam War veteran and loved to cheer on his Baylor Bears (where he was an alumni). Jack taught special education children prior to retirement and loved golfing and volunteering wherever needed. He was a kind person who loved to help others. To say Jack was talkative is an understatement. He loved to share jokes with strangers of friends - just to make them smile.

A memorial service will be held on December 14, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke's Catholic Church.
