Obituary

Mr. Jack Ensley Lowman, age 43, of Murrayville passed away Friday, January 31, 2020.

Jack was affectionately known by family and friends as "Little Jack".  Jack was born on July 4, 1976.  He is survived by loving parents Jack and Tina Lowman; sister Jennifer Fortenberry; nephews Samuel Fortenberry and Lucas Thomas; loving companion Vickie Brown; aunts and uncles Kate and Dean Davis, Henley Seabolt, Patsy and Ronnie Lingerfelt, Susie and Shawn McCune, Gladys and Bobby Samples, Kendall and Debbie Seabolt, Regina Seabolt, Larry and Rhonda Lowman, Ellene Headrick, Claudell and Howard Hinchliffe, and Lorine and Douglas Peck; and a number of cousins.

Jack is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Earnest and Bessie Seabolt; paternal grandparents Efford and Nelda Lowman; uncles Mark Seabolt, Hoyt Seabolt, Homer Davis, Harold Lowman and LaVerne Headrick; and aunts Elaine Davis, Dorothy Lowman and Laura Kurtz.

Jack dearly loved and was devoted to his parents and family.  He was a partner with his father in Lowman Construction, roofing contractors.  Jack was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He spent many laughter filled hunting and fishing trips with his father, nephew Samuel and uncles.

Jack will be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help anyone including family, friends and often strangers.  But most of all he will be remembered for his special love for his nephews and his infectious smile and laughter.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Yahoola Baptist Church.  The Rev. Nelson Conner, Rev. Ricky Woody and Rev. Kris Butler will officiate.  Interment will follow in Yahoola Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
